    Director of Corporate Communications

    Lead Empower Media's external marketing initiatives for the US' largest, woman-owned media agency. Responsible for media relations, marketing strategies, awards and recognition, and brand communications efforts. Collaborated to build marketing communications programs to match the agency's and its thought leaders' business and strategic goals.

    Consultant

    Consultant to Chicago Dramatists, Richard Boykin, Shiller Preyar Law, Alderman Helen Shiller, US Representative Bobby Rush, Vertical Inc. to develop, manage, and execute communications plans to promote engagement and sales for high-priority projects and campaigns including diversity and inclusion strategies to drive talent attraction, survey management to measure program effectiveness, content creation, including talking points, newsletters, op-eds, speeches, media pitches, visuals (graphic design), email campaigns, and social media content.

    Vegan Cheese Plate

    Cheddar, Blue, Truffle, and Global Heat cheeses, all vegan, along with homemade apricot jam, fennel mostarda, and pear butter. I made all of the crackers too.

    Salade Nicoise, vegan of course

    This was my mother's favorite salad, so I was so excited to veganize it. The best part is the kombu and dulse-marinated tofu that gives the taste of the sea that makes this salad as tasty as it is.
